Bachelors in Information Technology

by Brig Lamoreaux
(Queen Creek, Arizona, USA)

University of Phoenix provided a quick way to get my bachelors degree in Information technology. The coursework was a survey of many different technologies.

The professors did a great job in helping the teams of students learn the material. All course work was done from my computer at home, which made the experience great because I could work when I wanted. The students in my classes were from all over the country and had a wide range of experience. I think this difference in experience help me learn new things I wouldn’t have been able to learn otherwise.

It was a little difficult the first few classes getting used to the expectations of the workload and adjusting to managing my own schedule. Once I was able to take control of my own time, the coursework was very easy to complete.

I wouldn’t recommend University of Phoenix to someone who has a difficult time managing their time. When I began the program, my time management skills where nowhere near perfect. I really think the program helped me become better at planning and scheduling tasks and my own work.

Overall, University of Phoenix is a great way to get an education. You can do it at your own pace, learn from lots of different people, and learn other great skills like time management.
